Police on Hunt After Lemay Bank Robbery

The robber used a note to demand money at Century Credit Union.

St. Louis County Police are searching for a suspect after a robbery at the Century Credit Union at 1540 Lemay Ferry Road in Lemay Wednesday afternoon.

County police responded to the bank robbery at 2:30 p.m., Sgt. James McWilliams said in a release.

A man entered the bank and left a note on the counter that demanded money. He fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No weapon was displayed, and no one was hurt, McWilliams said.

The subject was described as a white male of medium build between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet, 2 inches. He wore a red multi-colored ball cap, a neon green reflective vest over a white, long-sleeved thermal shirt and dark rimmed glasses.
