Police Searching for Man in Reported Abduction Attempt in Affton

St. Louis County Police said two men tried to abduct a woman near Radio and Arrow drives in Affton Aug. 23.

St. Louis County Police are looking for help from the public in identifying two suspects in an abduction attempt. 

At about 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, a woman was going for a walk in the area of Radio Drive and Arrow Drive in Affton. The woman reports that two white men stopped a green or gray construction van next to her as she was walking.

The men are described as being in their 20s to early 30s, medium height and build, wearing jeans and T-shirts. The van had a sliding side door with a bare rear floor without seating.

One of the men is described as being age 25 to 35, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, 150 to 175 pounds, with very short, light brown hair.

The passenger exited the van and reportedly forced the woman partially into the rear of the van and attempted to assault her.  The woman was able to fight off her attacker and escape.
