Crime Blotter: Checks, Credit Cards, Meds Stolen in Shrewsbury

The  provided the following information in its police blotter.

Friday, July 13

Police investigated the theft of cash, medicine and a credit card from an apartment in the 7600 block of Watson Road. The theft took place sometime after Friday, April 20, 2012, and there was no forced entry into the apartment. A home health care agency took care of a sick woman in the apartment, so police are currently investigating agency employees.

Monday, July 16

Police investigated the fraudulent use of a credit card owned by a resident in the 5300 block of Kenrick Parke. Someone used the card to buy a $119 computer accessory at Best Buy and have it delivered to an address in north St. Louis County.

Tuesday, July 17

Someone forged three checks at area gas stations and a Radio Shack with the lost checkbook of a woman living in the 7600 block of Watson Road. The woman said she last saw the checkbook at at 7233 Watson Road on May 22.
