Shrewsbury Police Blotter: $450 Money Order Stolen at Taco Bell

The following information was supplied by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

The  provided the following information in their police blotter.

Saturday, June 30

Police investigated the theft of a 2006 Nissan Maxima in the 7700 block of Suffolk Avenue. The theft took place sometime in the previous night. Shattered glass was found on the street.

A Garmin GPS device was reported stolen from an SUV parked across the street from the stolen Nissan. The driver's side door lock was punched to give the thief entry. A second SUV also sustained damage to the driver's side door lock, but nothing from that car was reported stolen.

Police investigated the theft of a Western Union Money Order made out for $450. The money order was accidentally left on the counter of after food was purchased. A customer behind the victim took the money order and left the restaurant. Police are seeking a white female around 40-years-old with brown hair. She was wearing a red shirt.
