Shrewsbury Police Blotter: $500 Car Keying
The following information was supplied by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
Friday, September 2
A South St. Louis City woman was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated at 1:30 a.m. in the 7400 block of Watson Road after she failed to keep her vehicle in a single lane. Shrewsbury Police also discovered drug paraphernalia and marijuana inside the vehicle. The suspect refused to provide a breath sample and she was issued citation to appear in municipal court.
Police are investigating an identity theft regarding an a federal income tax return from the Internal Revenue Service to a resident in the 7700 block of Garden Avenue.

Saturday, September 3
A disturbance was reported at 4:30 a.m. in the 7200 block of Weil Avenue on Saturday. An intoxicated Shrewsbury man was arrested for domestic assault and trespassing after a verbal argument with his girlfriend over money. An intoxicated South St. Louis City woman was arrested for causing property damage to the front gate of a business as she was leaving.

Someone keyed a 2006 Pontiac parked in the 7800 block of Chatwell Drive between Wednesday, August 31 and Saturday, September 3. There were 15 scratches in the paint and over $500 worth of damage reported.
Monday, September 5
A Garmin GPS device worth $170.00 was reported stolen from a 2005 Chevy Impala which was parked in the 7600 block of Ravensridge Drive. The theft occurred between Monday, September 5 after 9 PM and Tuesday, September 6 at 9 AM. The driver side door lock had been damaged to gain entry into the vehicle.
