Shrewsbury Police Blotter: Antique Mall Thief Caught Selling on eBay
The following information was supplied by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
Friday, Sept. 9
Shrewsbury police responded to a report of domestic assault in the 7700 block of Arlington Avenue. There was an argument regarding finances, which lead to a physical confrontation. Police arrested the husband and issued him a citation to appear in municipal court.

Update: Police arrested a South St. Louis City man who leased a booth at the . The suspect admitted to taking 16 items from other booths over the past seven months and selling the property on eBay, due to a lack of sales at his booth. The original report was filed on Aug. 28, regarding a theft from the Kenrick Antique Mall, 7435 Watson Rd. The owner of the property informed police that a ceramic dog ($15), an incense burner ($5) and ceramic elephant bookends ($20) were taken from the booth she leases between July 7 and Aug. 5. The owner of the property noticed the items listed on eBay.

Update: Police arrested and issued a citation to a man from North St. Louis City about a theft reported by , 7208 Weil Ave. The former employee allegedly took a box of special nails from the loading dock area on Aug. 17. Management told police they found receipts in a company truck from a scrap yard with a former employee’s name on the receipts.
