Shrewsbury Police Blotter: Car Break-In Caught on Camera

Saturday, November 26

Police arrested three people for possession of drug paraphernalia and for having outstanding warrants from other police agencies after a traffic stop at 4300 Shrewsbury Ave. Two of the arrested people were from South St. Louis County; one of the arrested subjects was from Jefferson County.

Tuesday, November 29

Police were called to the 7300 block of Brunswick Avenue at 3:20 a.m. to investigate a suspicious person. Using a video surveillance system, a homeowner noticed someone trying to enter his two parked vehicles. The suspect left the area running west on Brunswick on foot prior to police arriving on the scene.  Police are looking for someone dresses in a light colored hat, dark gloves, and a light colored jacket with a reflective stripe.

Wednesday, November 30

A Shrewsbury man was arrested on charges of leaving the scene of an accident in the 7700 block of Keswick Place. The accident took place earlier in the day on the parking lot of the apartment complex involving a Lincoln and a Chrysler.  Police located the driver as he returned to the striking vehicle, several hours after causing the accident and not alerting anyone. He was issued citations to appear in court for leaving the scene of an accident and for not having proof of insurance as well as outstanding warrants for his arrest from two other police departments.
