Shrewsbury Police Blotter: Eight Vehicle Locks Damaged on One Block

Friday, September 29

License plate tabs were reported stolen from a 1998 Ford parked in the 7500 block of Lansdowne Avenue.

At 5 p.m. Shrewsbury police were called to the 7700 block of Arlington Avenue regarding two men spray painting graffiti on the side of a parked rail road car. The suspects ran west on the rail road tracks after police spotted them.

There were eight vehicles which sustained minor property damage to the door locks, and three Garmin GPS devices and one wallet were reported stolen from an apartment complex in the 7700 block of Ravensridge Drive. The time frame of this incident ranges between Monday, October 3 after 11:30 p.m. and Tuesday, October 4 at 7 a.m. Police recommend not leaving valuables inside vehicles.
