Shrewsbury Police Blotter: Felon Does 85 MPH on Watson

The following information was supplied by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Friday, March 2

At 9:30 p.m., Shrewsbury police responded to a single vehicle automobile accident in the 7600 block of Watson Road and arrested a Sunset Hills woman for driving while intoxicated. The woman was issued citations to appear in municipal court.  The suspect’s blood alcohol content will be determined after a laboratory analysis.

At  9:35 p.m. police arrested a South St. Louis City woman that failed to yield to a Shrewsbury Police Officer directing traffic around the automobile accident in the 7600 block of Watson Road.  The suspect was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, and she was issued citations to appear in municipal court.

Thursday, Mach 8

A woman from South St. Louis City driving a Dodge Avenger was arrested and issued citations for speeding at 85 mph in a 40 mph zone in the 7700 block of Watson Road, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle and for having an outstanding warrant for being a felony parole violator. The woman abandoned her vehicle near Watson Rd. and Edgar Rd.  Webster Groves Police eventually found the abandoned vehicle, and a short time later the suspect was found and turned over to Shrewsbury Police at 1:45 a.m.
