Shrewsbury Police Blotter: One Incident Wonder

The Shrewsbury Police Department reported only one incident from this past week.

On Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 5 p.m., police investigated a report of identity theft from a woman that resides in the 800 block of Lordshill Lane. The woman was informed by Bank of America that someone had used her identity to open two bank accounts. Police checked with Bank of America and discovered the accounts were opened in Witchita, Kansas, without the woman’s permission; however, both accounts were closed prior to any fraudulent activity.
