The following incidents took place in Shrewsbury last week:

Wednesday, March 20

  • At 10 a.m. police arrested a man from South St. Louis City for having outstanding warrants and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 4500 block of Shrewsbury Ave.

Friday, March 22

  • A Florissant man was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop for prohibited truck traffic in the 7500 block of Weil Avenue.

  • Oficers responded to the 7700 block of Ravensridge for a domestic disturbance. The victim advised that her boyfriend had assaulted her and damaged a laptop computer during an argument. The man, who had left the scene prior to officers’ arrival, was later arrested and issued summonses to appear in municipal court for domestic assault and property damage.

Wednesday, March 27

  • Officers responded to the 4200 block of Carr Lane for a delayed report of a gym bag stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot. The incident had occurred two days prior to the report. A gym bag, wallet, clothing items, and other personal belongings were in the gym bag when it was taken. The vehicle had been left unlocked in the parking lot; there were no signs of forced entry.

Thursday, March 28

  • A St. Louis woman was arrested for outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Shrewsbury Avenue.
  • A Creve Coeur man was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Shrewsbury Avenue.
