Shrewsbury Police: Skin Care, Glasses, iPod Stolen

Shrewsbury Police Department supplied the following information. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

The handled the following incidents last week. 

August 4

A woman from Affton was issued a citation for stealing a skin care product from Sally Beauty Supply and sunglasses from Johnnie Brocks, both on Watson Road.

Police were called to investigate the theft of a pink iPod Nano from the back room of a home in the 5100 block of Deville Avenue. The iPod was taken between Aug. 2 at 4:45 a.m. and Aug. 3 at 5:45 a.m. Police did not find forced entry into the home.

August 6

A Fenton man was issued citations for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a pedestrian check by police in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 7000 block of Nottingham Avenue.

August 10

Police found a cashier who reportedly stole more than $200 from her cash register last month. Police said they “obtained a confession” and issued her a citation to appear in municipal court.
