South County Man Charged With Making False Bomb Report for Affton Business

St. Louis County Police said a temporary employee, Adam F. Cortner, told a dispatcher a bomb had been planted at Kerry Inc.

A South County man is accused of making a false bomb report at a business in Affton, police said.

Adam F. Cortner, of the 4700 block of Ambs Road in South County, was charged Wednesday with making a false bomb report.

St. Louis County Police said Cortner told a public safety dispatcher on June 18, 2012, that a bomb had been placed Kerry Inc. at 8155 New Hampshire Avenue in Affton.

Cortner was a temporary employee at Kerry Inc.

Bail has been set at $15,000 for Cortner.
