Have you ever wanted to learn more about how your police work in your neighborhood?

The St. Louis County Police Affton Precinct is set to hold a Citizens Police Academy next month. At each night of the academy, attendees will hear from different speakers, such as a burglary detective one night or an automotive theft detective on another, Officer Dave Sebek said.

Attendees will learn more about police equipment, meet with a canine officer and tour the police building, Sebek said.
