Webster Man Wanted After Evading Shrewsbury Police
A Webster Groves man drove away from police during a traffic stop. He is wanted for a variety of traffic-related charges.
Shrewsbury Police are on the lookout for a Webster Groves man who evaded police in a 2002 Ford Taurus on July 9.
Police originally stopped the man in the 7200 block of Weil Avenue due to an expired license plate.
As police conducted a records check and discovered nearby police departments had warrants for the man’s arrest, the man drove east on Weil Avenue at what police described as “a high rate of speed.”

Police found the man’s abandoned car in an apartment complex parking lot in the 7000 block of Nottingham Avenue.
