Woman Escapes Abduction in Affton; Police Search for Suspects
Can you identify the man police say attempted to abduct a woman in Affton?
St. Louis County Police are asking the public for help identifying two suspects in a suspected abduction attempt.
An adult woman walking near Radio Drive and Arrow Drive in Affton around 9 p.m. Aug. 23 reported that two men attempted to force her into their green or gray construction van. The van had a sliding door and a bare rear floor without seating. The passenger exited the van, forced her partially in and attempted to assault her, police said.
The woman was able to fight off her attacker and escape.
The police gave the following description of one of the suspects: a white male, between 25 and 35 years old, between 5'7 and 5'11, weighing 150-175 pounds with very short, light brown hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a dark t-shirt.
