Would-Be Robber Foiled at South Community Credit Union

A bank robbery was foiled at Gravois Road near Mathilda Ave. Tuesday morning.

Police are looking for the man who attempted to rob South Community Credit Union Monday morning.

When a teller at the bank, at 8814 Gravois Road, saw the suspect approaching wearing all-black clothing and a white bandanna on his face, the teller pushed the alarm and ran away from the service window, according to KMOV. The man then ran out of the building.

This makes the third bank robbery in the area in the last two days. On Monday, three people robbed First Bank at 7256 Gravois, and a man in a wig robbed the US Bank at South County Center.
