Construction Starts on Rock Hill Road

Rock Hill Road is getting major road improvements from Gravois to Laclede Station roads. Will this affect your commute?

Rock Hill Road between Gravois and Laclede Station roads is about to get a facelift.

The Department of Highways and Traffic has contracted Pace Construction Company to begin repairing concrete and asphalt paving. Workers are scheduled to begin repairing concrete this month and paving asphalt in May, according to a letter from the department.

The project will remove and replace deteriorated base pavement, curbs, sidewalk and driveway approaches, surface and texture the pavement, superpave the asphalt overlay and replace traffic signal loop detectors.

The construction will cause closures and delays for traffic. Commercial entrances will remain open throughout constructin, and emergency vehicles will have access to affected properties at all times. All the construction is scheduled for daytime hours.
