How Clean are South County Pools?

Patch examined inspection reports in South County—especially Mehlville, Oakville and Affton—in July when several area pools were inspected.

Comments: The pool is currently drained for cleaning and will reopen in September.

Villages at General Grant Outdoor Pool, 7482 Hardscrapple Drive

Pinehurst Apartments Outdoor Pool, 3164 Alpen Rose Court

Inspection date: July 16

Comments: The pool was missing some signs, including a “Register a complaint” sign, an emergency contact sign and a “No swimming alone” sign.
