MoDOT Launches 'Pothole Patrol' Monday

MoDOT is committing to repairing most potholes within 24 hours of them being reported. Motorists simply have to call in or email the pothole location.

The Missouri Department of Transportation kicked off its "enhanced pothole repair initiative" this week.

MoDOT stated in a news release that the plan is the same as last year where crews will repair a pothole with asphalt within 24 hours of it being reported on a weekday.

"MoDOT’s goal is to aggressively tackle potholes to keep highways smooth and safe for St. Louis motorists," the news release stated.

Drivers should report potholes to by calling 1-888-ASK-MoDOT or online at MoDOT.org.
