Preview: Meeting on Gravois Housing Development Today

The St. Louis County Planning Commission meets tonight and will discuss the 124-home housing development proposed near Cor Jesu Academy and Grant's Farm.

St. Louis County's Planning Commission is considering rezoning land near Cor Jesu Academy and Grant's Farm to be developed into a single-family housing development.

McBride Berra LLC is planning a 50+ acre development with 124 new mid- to high-priced homes at Gravois Road and Musick Road. Developers presented their plan to the commission last month.

At last month's meeting, residents of surrounding neighborhoods asked the commission to consider how the development would affect traffic, which residents say is already dangerous.

The commission is likely to vote on the issue tonight, which would move it forward for final approval from the St. Louis County Council. The commission can also delay the vote if members decide they need more time or information.
