Roadwork Continues in Green Park as New Bridge Opens
Kohrs Lane from Green Park Road will be closed starting Wednesday.
Green Park Mayor Tony Konopka announced that the new bridge on Green Park Road just south of Green Park Industrial Drive is now open. Some site restoration work still remains, but Konopka said he expects the $739,596 project that began March 14 to be completely finished in 10 days.
The city’s second road project, the reconstruction of Green Park Road from Tesson Lin Ville Drive to Tesson Ferry Road remains ongoing. Konopka said construction crews are doing their best to make progress but must work around utility companies as they relocate lines in the area.
“They are working on a contingency plan in the likely event that this becomes a winter project,” he said. “The plan will provide a means to maintain the drivability of Green Park Road in the winter months.”

Konopka said access to Kohrs Lane from Green Park Road will be closed starting Oct. 19 to allow AT&T to relocate phone lines and to begin the road reconstruction in that area. The street will still be accessible from Lindbergh Boulevard.
