11 Busses Twice a Day: Through Gotsch Parking Lot or Nearby Neighborhood
The Affton School District needs to decide where the busses will be routed before school starts.
Neighbors near Gotsch Intermediate School don’t like an Affton School District plan to ease congestion of busses and cars on Gotsch’s parking lot by running 11 busses two times a day through the Richford Gardens neighborhood, according to a report by KSDK.
The district says the Gotsch parking lot is unsafe with cars and busses sharing an exit, but people who live in the neighborhood say their streets are narrow, with no sidewalks, which would be unsafe for kids there.
Affton School district plans to have a decision by the time school starts on Aug. 15.
