Bayless School District recognizes outstanding members of its staff and community Thursday evening. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place in the district auditorium with refreshments served in the junior high school gym afterwards.
The District Teacher of the Year will be announced at the ceremony, along with the Staff Person of the Year and teachers of the year at each school. This year's retirees will be recognized as well.
Broncho Awards will be given to individuals in the community and on staff who have gone above and beyond to serve the district. A Triple Crown Award goes to a person who has received the Broncho Award in the past, and continued to demonstrate outstanding service.

The ceremony will also honor more than 100 volunteers who have helped out as the schools as OASIS tutors, room helpers and committee members.
