Lecture and Book Signing

Author Jonathon D. Sarna will speak on his new book, "When General Grant Expelled the Jews". The book highlights General Grant's General Order 11 which expelled all Jewish people in the territory under his command in an effort to stop a black market trading operation.  The order was quickly rescinded by President Abraham Lincoln, however the fallout would shape the future of Ulysses S. Grant's political and personal life.

Tickets are $10.00 to reserve a seat for this event.  The ticket will be honored for $10.00 toward a minimum $10.00 purchase in the U. S. Grant NHS Sales Area on the day of the event.  Jonathan D.
