Technology Forum

The Affton School District will host a community-led forum on technology used in its schools on Tuesday, October 2 at 7 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at Affton Early Childhood, 9832 Reavis Road.

As outlined in the Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP), the district strives to ensure that we acquire relevant instructional technology and offer empowering tools that allow our schools to expand their productivity and capability. Similarly, it is important to consider what technology will best enhance our students’ educational experience.

Community engagement is an important piece of the Education Technology Program Audit being performed during the 2012-2013 school year, and we invite the Affton community to take part in shaping the vision. The evening will include a synopsis of the goals for the audit, as well as an opportunity for teachers, parents and community members to identify what they feel is, and will be, important in technology for Affton students.
