Lindbergh Juniors Sell Chili for 2013 Graduation Party

Lindbergh junior Debby Gregory cooked a batch of chili for the event when one of the suppliers backed out.

The Lindbergh High School junior class is working on raising $30,000 by spring of 2013.

As past LHS classes have done, they'll have a lock-in at the RiverChase Recreation Center in Fenton. For food, entertainment and rental, about $30K is what they'll need.

Thursday night in the cafeteria, the juniors held the Lindbergh High School Project Graduation 2013 Chili Cook-Off. About 300 folks paid $5 each to taste four different chilis.

Helen Fitzgerald's Irish Grill, Texas Roadhouse, and Delaney's Neighborhood Bar & Grill were three that supplied chili, and the fourth was LHS junior Debby Gregory–one of the vendors backed out, so Gregory stepped up.

Watch for more junior class fundraisers.
