Lindbergh Mothers Club Sets Annual Holiday House Tour and Craft Boutique

Tickets go on sale Nov. 12 for the 37th annual event.

The Lindbergh High School Mothers' Club is inviting the public to “Come Home for Christmas” as it presents its 37th annual Holiday House Tour and Craft Boutique on Dec. 2.

The "Come Home for Christmas" tour will showcase six one-of-a-kind homes, including a custom-built three-story Victorian style, a mid-century modern with period furnishings, a Spanish-style home with a pre-Civil War era slave cabin on the grounds, an updated, spacious traditional two-story, a renovated 1950s ranch, and an expanded Grantwood Village charmer.  Participants will be able to explore them all.

The Mothers’ Club expressed its gratitude to the families who were willing to share their homes. These residences can be a source of inspiration for decking out your own home for the holidays.

House tours will run between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Visitors can start their day or take a break during the tour with an elegant brunch at the Soccer Park Center (formerly the Anheuser-Busch Conference Center) from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  Live holiday music will be provided by a Lindbergh High School student ensemble during brunch.

Shopping at the holiday craft boutique at the Soccer Park Center is free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crafters and artisans will offer everything from holiday décor and jewelry to gourmet food and fine art. Soccer Park Center is located at 1 Soccer Park Road in Fenton. Please visit www.LHSMothersClub.com for more information and directions.

Proceeds from the Holiday House Tour and Craft Boutique allow the LHS Mothers' Club to continue to provide academic support to students and staff, including college scholarships, teacher and classroom grant requests and significant funding for the school's Renaissance Program.

St. Louis Homes & Lifestyles is the media sponsor for the 2012 “Come Home for Christmas” House Tour.
