Lindbergh Teachers Get a Pay Hike Throughout Next Two Years
The school board voted to give a 2.8 percent salary increase to teachers.
Lindbergh School District's Board of Education voted unanimously Tuesday to give a 2.8 percent salary increase to teachers, averaged throughout the next two years.
Per a request by the teachers' union Lindbergh National Education Association (LNEA), teachers will receive a bigger pay increase the first year, and the remainder the following year.
Board President Dr. Vic Lenz said Tuesday negotiations between the district and teachers’ union went “beautifully,” but he worried the district’s salary scale put it at a disadvantage in attracting the best teachers.
