Welcome to Affton! Tell us about your new job. What will you be doing?

I will be teaching Health to 6th, 7th and 8th graders. We will be doing research projects, learning how to be and stay healthy and active for our entire life. I will also be providing a workout class after school for the teachers.

Where did you come from? What background are you bringing to our schools?

I am from St. Louis, but did get a chance to teach in Los Angeles, California for 2 years and Scottsdale, Arizona for 1 year.

What are you most looking forward to this school year?

I am most looking forward to keeping the students engaged and actively involved in the classroom.

Tell us about your family. Who supports you?

I am married to a science teacher and we have 3 children. We have Caroline, who is 3 months, Vincent is 22 months and Penelope just turned 3 years old.
