Welcome to Affton! Tell us about your new job. What will you be doing?

I am excited to be the new Math Coach at Mesnier Primary School. I will be supporting teachers in their classrooms to improve their students’ achievement in mathematics.

Where did you come from? What background are you bringing to our schools?

This is my ninth year teaching and I have taught in the Wentzville School District for the past 5 years. I was very involved with the implementation and teacher training of their math program.

What are you most looking forward to this school year?

I am looking forward to joining the staff at Mesnier and engaging students and building their love for mathematics!

Tell us about your family. Who supports you?

I am one of 5 children and have family all over the country. I recently got married this summer and moved to the Affton area.

What is the most embarrassing song on your ipod?

I am also a Zumba instructor, so my iPod is filled with Latin dance music.
