Retiring Asst. Super Honored by MO Congress

The Missouri State Legislature honored Ken Weissflug with a proclamation as he prepares to retire from his post as Affton Assistant Superintendent.

As Affton Assistant Superintendent Ken Weissflug gets closer to retirement, Affton School District is honoring his service and his impact on schools, students and staff.

School board treasurer Thomas Bellavia presented Weissflug at Tuesday's meeting with a proclamation from the Missouri legislature honoring him as he retires.

“I’ve enjoyed every minute of it,” Weissflug told Patch last year when he announced his retirement. “It’s changed my life dramatically—all for the good.”
