The school district also provided three safety rules for parents to establish with their children:

  1. Students should not walk to or from school or a bus stop alone; always walk with a friend.
  2. If approached by a stranger, the student should run away.
  3. If a stranger touches or attempts to grab a student, the child should yell and scream.

If you or your children encounter suspicious activity traveling to or from school, contact the St. Louis County Police.
