Neighborhood Recycling Program and Social Hour

SJCA is Hosting an Ongoing Recycling Drop-Off Program and Social Hour for Neighbors

Do you live in an area that is unincorporated (like Affton!) or somewhere else that doesn't offer recycling pick-up? I am a "Recycling Lover"--meaning, recycling as much as possible gives me a huge sense of satisfaction. If you are interested in protecting your environment but don't have the time or willingness to drive to another recyling drop-off center, feel free to bring your recyclables to Spine and Joint Center of Affton, every second and fourth Wednesday evening of the month at 6pm. We will collect your recyclables and even provide some light refreshments for neighbors to meet and greet.

What Can We Recycle?

If you are new to recycling and wondering what is recyclable, we can take paper, paperboard (like a cereal box), all plastics numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 (sorry, no number 6's), glass, and aluminum. Please bring your drop-offs in a tied-off plastic bag; if it's smelly, we can deal with it as long as it's clean and non-leaking on the outside!

Wondering How to Find Us?

Spine and Joint Center of Affton's address is 8005 Mackenzie Road.  We are located in the Mackenzie Crossing center, which is at the intersection of Mackenzie and Heege Roads.  We are directly across Mackenzie Road from 7-11, and we are about 1/3 of a mile north on Mackenzie from Affton High School.
