Hammond is about 6 years old, likes dogs and is declawed. His left ear is curled over in place due to an old injury—making his left profile look like a Scotish fold. He has an easy going personality and big amber eyes that will win your heart. He even takes pride patroling the house while you are gone and watching out the window waiting for your return. If you are looking to adopt a pet as a gift for Christmas, however, be sure to let Frisky Whiskers know this weekend. Shelters need time to process the paperwork, and they discourage last minute adoptions.

Petco will also be doing photos with Santa on Saturday. There will also be gift wrapping from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Dec. 21-23, and from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 24.
