Here's the rundown of school sports and Affton business news for the week.
- Affton football begins its season Friday at Windsor at 7 p.m. Affton softball’s first game is Wednesday at Sullivan at 4:15 p.m. Volleyball is Friday at Summit at 5 p.m.
- Bayless soccer plays Thursday at Whitfield at 4:15 p.m. Softball is Wednesday at Trinity Catholic at 4:15.
- The Sharpshooter indoor shooting range set to open on Monday. Sharpshooter Pit n Grill has opened recently. Both are at 8135 Gravois Road.
- The Affton Chamber of Commerce holds a Meet and Greet Wednesday at Park Forest Apartments, 7529 Fleta Street, at 10 a.m.
- Jammin’ at the Zoo - The Young Zoo Friends host a summer party lakeside in the center of the Zoo. General admission is $10/general public and free for Zoo Friends members.
