Hit the Pool, See a Movie or Play Cards at the Library this Weekend

There's plenty to do around Affton and Shrewsbury this weekend!

Are you in need of some ideas? Here are a few for your family and you:

  1. Middle School Mixer: Affton Schools Mothers' Club is sponsoring the event for students to get to know one another at Rogers Middle School on Friday from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  2. The pools are only open a couple more weeks. Stop by Shrewsbury Pool for a dip.
  3. Join the card club at the St. Louis County Library, Weber Road Branch. Play canasta, pinochle, and other card games. New groups are always welcome. This is for adults from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Click here for more information about Card Club.
  4. Bike Grant's Trail. The Ulysses S. Grant Trail is an 8-mile long "rails to trails" bike trail perfect for biking, running of whatever you prefer.
  5. Go to a movie! Keller 8 Theater, at 4572 Lemay Ferry Road should have Friday releases Abandoned Mine, Kick-Ass 2,Β  Lee Daniels' The ButlerΒ  and more.
