The Affton School District has been one of the defining institutions of this unincorporated area for more than 150 years. Its administration is housed in what was once the Mackenzie school. Board of Education meetings, however, are held in the library of Rogers Middle School on the third Tuesday of the month at 7pm. The curriculum, facilities and personnel committees meet on the first and second Tuesdays of the month.
