The barbers at Concord Plaza Barber Shop are barbers and not to be confused with stylists; no colors or highlights are performed here. Of course this is just the way owner Paul Vonderhaar wants it. Given that the shop has been in business since 1961 and is typically busy enough to warrant customers being asked to take a number, something good is happening here. Concord is very much an old fashioned barber shop, complete with the red-and-white pole.
