My husband and I decided to check out Schottzie's a few weeks ago on a late saturday night. I work near there so I had been wanting to try it and they were one of the only late night bars serving food. The first thing I noticed was that there were dirty napkins around the tables, on the floor. The whole place was just dirty in general and worst of all, there was a raw milk smell. They weren't overly busy so I'm not sure why it was so dirty. The food was decent and our server was very sweet however, I wouldn't go back again due to the overall lack of cleanliness(and the awful smell).

This place is exceptionally filthy. I was wearing shorts when I felt a bug crawl up my leg. It was a cockroach. The floors are so dirty! The side of my sandal had a black, greasy substance sort of curling up the side of it when we left. They really must purchase their health inspections because there is no way on God's Green Earth they could pass one. I didn't order any food because I was afraid. Yikes!
Heard about Schottzies for quite awhile and 8 of us joined for dinner. The building is older but quaint. The food was great and reasonable, tasted home cooked. The house dressing was to die for and salad served with a pretzel (cute idea). We had a great time and our lost for not trying sooner. We will return. Noticed 2 other reviews on same day, must have been a different restaraunt.
