Why can't I find this organization on the web? If they are recruiting members, how are they doingRead More that? What type of candidates will they support? What would be the incentive to join?

I found the site; I did not spell it correctly because I combined the words all in lower case. ItRead More can be found at PleaseGovern.org i.e. as they have it in the above release.

Does anyone ever ask about the annual cost to do this? Signing (Applications) on the dotted lineRead More does not define "success". Over 50 million people are losing their health care plans, while articles like this attempt to show how a mere application leads to "Success". The future choices? A) Obamacare- A Free public insurance Plan or B) Private-care-- A Privately paid insurance plan. Does this look familiar to all.? Does Public Education vs Private education choices ring a bell. Yep! a Public insurance system will cost the first $20,000 of each wage earners incomes. Like our Education system, that cost will be passed on to every business in America. The people will never notice it. Business Penalties and taxes will rise to $6,000 per employee in order to support "FREE" medical insurance. The income tax system is dead. Our congress now just forces the spending directly on businessess. Just make businesses pay for "Freebies" and then we could Blame those big bad employers for raising prices to pay for all these "freebies". That's what steps 1-2-3 will lead to. 1-2-3 in America is a "STRIKEOUT"!

And now we are all seeing the definition of "FREE" change right before your eyes. Free nowRead More means "You don't have to pay for it". No sir, let someone else buy the first suit, you'll take the next 2 free ones. So, we need 7 million suckers to Buy the first suite (Bronze plan) and the freebies come after that. That's the new capitalism in America. We even have FREE Kindergarten available to a limited number of people, as if no one is paying for it. Classrooms manned by "volunteer workers". Supplies , heat lights, power janitors all working FREE. Even a Bank robber now fits the definition of getting something Free. He gets reimbursed for everything he buys. That makes it "free". (As if there is no one who provided the stolen funds.) He gets all his living expenses paid by someone else. So, the Affordable care act becomes the legal way to turn your cheek the other way, while the Government steals money from businesses (Through taxation) to pay the new "welfare" in America (conspicuously titled Affordable care, when in fact there is not one ounce of CARE in BUYING INSURANCE . Yes! I think Americans will opt into a "free" plan. It's free becomes the new American Mantra--I actually see people flock to get their "free" casino handouts only after they Play approximately $1,000 per month to qualify. Free shirts, turkeys pots pans etc.. I hope all 300 million Americans opt into the Free Obamacare plan. Let me offer a question and answer. If 300mil people Get medical insurance Free, and it cost $5,000 per year, fully paid by the Government, does anyone out there know who would send the Govt the necessary $1.5 TRil every year to make it Free. Either more businesses will close shop or will raise prices and that folks--Makes YOU the ultimate Payer of what you think is free. As a matter of fact, the people that could least afford higher living costs will be paying way much more percentage of their incomes for what they think is free. Someone forgot to tell the Doctors and Nurses and Hospitals and wheelchair and Kidney Dialysis machine manufacturers, that They must now WORK FREE because people cannot afford their products or services. Blame the insurance companies for higher premiums, don't blame your Lifestyle for racking up unnecessary CLAIMS that the insurance must pay. Ultimately, all the Government could give you is FREE INSURANCE NOT FREE HEALTH CARE. (only a Doctor could do that) The only thing Bronze about Insurance premiums is the pouch your policy comes in. I would really wonder how a "Bronze" Insurance plan certificate could perform Surgery when you need it. Fools now outnumber those who are financially supporting this new "welfare". I am reminded of that song- appropriately titled "FOOLS RUSH IN" "Where wisemen never go". Scary--Aren't I.?????? But Paul REVERE warnings always scare the uninformed. Over 90 mil people will lose their employer sponsored Health plans. It is "coming within the next 2 years. All now exempt employers with under 50 employees will be reduced to under 25 employees within 5 years. Penalties of $2,000 will be raised to $4,000 per employee within 5 years. MY BIGGEST WARNING FOR UNION GROWTH! IT will Melt away! There will be no need for union sponsored Health plans starting 2016 because most of the workforce will be forced into Govt exchanges right out of College. They will have Zero needs to join any union. (Since health care is the current major reason unions exist) I seek no responses, I am here to Warn and inform.

Paul, we get the point that you object to your tax dollars being used to fund an educational systemRead More that neither need nor support. My questions to you are what are you going to do about it, and what can you do to bring people more in line with your way of thinking?
PaulRevere November 7, 2013 at 05:09 pm
Larry: You have it all wrong. I support a "Free" public education system. That's what theRead More Missouri constitution says. "public schools" it says. "Ages up to 21" Look it up. It's very clear. However Liberalism takes the Mandate of "Free" and turns it into a "union controlled money machine". (Called TAXATION). Our state of Missouri is mandated to pay 25% of it's annual revenue toward the Public school system. So, we all paid to start and run our schools through state taxes. I agree with all that. My contribution to public schools is in the state coffers like everyone else. Our Real estate taxes were never a big deal, because the schools ran on state support Unfortunately, that has changed drastically. While it's free to attend a public school , it has been TAXED through Auto personal property and real estate taxes. Then came lotto ,tobacco, casino fees and rate of business taxes that now stand at double the individual homeowner rates. So I object to the "COST" of running what should be "Free". That cost of running these schools has been hijacked by "union styled labor and benefits". That's it. I object to having to pay excessively higher education taxes that are needed only for Raises and massive pensions Nowhere near what the private Teacher market is valued in this Missouri state. As a matter of fact, I would challenge any current public school teacher with 15 years experience to go out and find an equivalent paying job with benefits in any private market. It was not always that way. So, please understand what I object to. The law says "Free Public schools", while I say "AT WHAT COST". That door must be exposed. 1) All Missouri public school Educators (superintendents, principals etc ) must immediately be asked to join the social security system, like all other workers in America. 2) "Free Public school Education" needs to be defined (personal Retirement pension and transportation of students needs to be charged to the users of our public schools) 3) Any public school pay scales higher than our private Teacher market compensation should be Charged to those users of public school services. 4) Businesses and their owners in any school district should have voting rights to any tax rate increases. 5) All athletic activities should have a charge for those who use that extra curricular activity. 6) End All labor contracts that include age 58 retirements immediately for all new hires. How is that for starters? Unless we start , this country will be forever "slaves" to Educators. It's amazing how a majority of people who no longer need public school would be coerced into paying more and more for a product they do not need. They have no idea they are indeed still paying for education without any increases through our states 25% fund.. I really cannot do much about it until people in all districts understand the massive pays and benefits they are supporting for what should be "Free". The teacher unions plead "poverty pay levels" (A TOTAL LIE!). And the mass public believes it. 99% of the public does not even understand how Real estate tax hikes also make your auto tax rates go up. The rate increases are lied , when the media tells us only one side. Any tax rate increase this year also will make your Auto taxes go up.That is substantial. In the meantime, Educating the many residents who think that schools are actually "free" will be done. I have a branch belief. One person today , two next, 4 next etc. Larry: It's not "My Way of Thinking" It's the way it is. So, if you note that it is my way of thinking , would you please point out anything I said here that is not true. Can you start by justifying how Parents really need free Transportation for their child in this 21st century? Do you really think 99% of the people own a Car? Do you believe most would gladly pay a $100 fee for transportation? That's not "my way of thinking"-- That's a fact. The fact that you ask is a start. Hopefully, you are sincere.

Paul, While I agree with you on a few salient points such as the absurdly high salaries for schoolRead More administrators, we will never see eye-to-eye on much of anything else, apparently. And I'm still curious as to how you plan on "fixing" all these things that are such a burden to you.

A more refreshing change is Tony Pousosa. We need more than a Name Change, we need a GameRead More Changer!!!. Charlie Dooley has shown he is not up to the job. And arguably, neither is Steve Stenger. He has been on the County Council for 4 years... and now he wants to change the procurement policies of St Louis County; now he wants audit all of the accounts. Where was Steve about this earlier when Dooley wanted ti close the parks. Stenger made a stink about it. But did he look into why the county was having money problems?? This is a CPA and a lawyer. He was just making points. He did not change the game. Tony Pousosa is an experienced and capable civic leader. He has been an Alderman in Green Park, served on Planning & Zoning Commission. He is very knowledgeable about municipal issues as member of the Legislative Affairs committeeman of the St. Louis County Municipal League.
PaulRevere November 8, 2013 at 02:54 pm
Without even knowing the party affiliation of Tony, I would want to know his area of expertise. ARead More CPA interests me, but not the Lawyer side of Stenger. If Tony has some other than Govt. experience, then he could be viable and considered a serious contender.

When I moved here in 1979 there was a horse kept in the corner lot. I believe her name was Mandy.Read More As far as the Jeffco comment I don't think any slur was intended. You would not believe was is allowed in the rural counties. There are some beautiful homes and neighborhoods and next to it will be an abandoned mobile home or a house with broken appliances or several vehicles in various stages of "fixing up". It is just a fact.

Apologies to Patrica and Tracy and anyone else who was offended by what has been perceived as aRead More criticism of Jefferson County I have four close relatives in Jefferson County. I enjoy attending the auto races in Pevely, prefer the Werenberg Theatre on Richardson Road to other theatres in St. Louis County, have browsed the aisles of the flea markets within Jeffco, and enjoy fishing at some favorite fishing spots there. I was only trying to draw a comparison of the difference between the size of a yard sale and the size of a flea market. the latter being typically larger like those I have been at in Jeffco. In using the term "Jefferson County style flea market" I can see, in retrospect how it could be construed that I was bad-mouthing Jefferson County. Truly I was not...but I can see how it could be, and was interpreted that way. So, again..please let me say there was no intention on my part to offend anyone who lives in Jeffco (including members of my family)! Thank you for pointing out this unintended mischaracterization.

Francis: "regulate" health care is exactly the opposite of what ACA does. The Govt (ACA)Read More has actually "required" every living American to Pay for someone else's medical claims. You are wrong to label that "regulate like utilities". Utilities are "rate" justified regulation. That means they can indeed justify rate increases. The govt does not regulate "HOW MUCH EACH PERSON PAYS in Utility bills". If I don't use any Electricity , I do not pay One cent of your Electric bills. Only homeowners using electric or gas pay their bills. Safety regulation is the Govt's job. Forcing me to pay electric or gas bills just because I am a living being is not "regulation". Just like car insurance. False claims that we are ALL required to buy auto insurance. That is simply not true. Only car owners are required to buy "Liability" insurance ---not car insurance. That is a big big difference. People who cannot drive do not pay any car insurance. ACA is the most intrusive "MANDATE" ever in the history of USA. You use your employer to pay for medical bills. that's fine. But, your employer is now paying increases for those who have nothing to do with working at your company. Your employer has zero control over his total medical costs. I would actually like to see every employer DROP their insurance plans and force you and every employee into this "great"??? ACA plan. Maybe then you and those who get medical insurance paid by employers will experience just how ACA has costed all Americans over $1 tril in unnecessary costs, while it should only cost us a simple $5,000 check to only the uninsured. You are emphasizing what ACA does without even considering the massive costs it is going to be in everything we buy. So, instead of dealing with future insurance cost increases--We all will be facing $7 gal gasoline and $4 burgers and grocery bills going up over 25% per year. Like I said before, ACA is like cutting down a whole tree just to produce "ONE-TOOTHPICK". But, that's liberalism. just create phanthom-work by taxing those RICH people who can always raise their prices to the poor and needy. Translated!!-- Every $1 of Govt. welfare or subsidy to a poor or needy person is then charged back to that person by higher prices for the things they need to survive. ACA will not hurt You because you have a job. You better hope you are a valuable person and have job security. Now, if you work for any Govt or employer who gets paid by Govt money, then you most certainly could care less about the plight of every other American worker. ACA hurts only non-Govt workers or non-govt connected employers. Unfortunately, this country has a Govt work force that will constantly vote for their own security while screwing the rest of this country. In exactly 20 years, every Rich or well to do retiree now supporting this mess will die of and America will be left with only the "TAKERS". No more freebies means an America in decline. It is already started, and you better hope you retire a millionaire. Health care in 20 years will take over $30,000 of whatever income you make. Your 401k money will next be stolen by Govt to help pay for ACA. That is my predictions, and I am usually very right on predictions. Do you really know how much $1tril dollars equals????? Do you know that America will soon have a debt of $20 tril dollars? Do you know that America owes over $90Tril in pensions and future soc security and medicare claims? Just how and where is this ACA money going to come from? Talk about what it does all you want, but let's talk about Where the money will come from. Every time your employer charges you more for health care IS A PAY DECREASE! It's foolish to try and compare that to "utilities". Not even a "bum" is required to buy Electricity or Gas. Yet, that "bum will now be stealing my hard earned dollars to buy His health care. Think about that.
Francis Soyer October 25, 2013 at 09:34 am
You COMPLETELY misunderstood my post... I did not say ACA, as is, regulates... I said I would likeRead More to see them regulate it like they do utilities... meaning, instead of the government running the insurance, JUST regulate it. Keep cost undercontrol, so that insurance companies can't keep needlessly rasing costs. While the ACA may be the most intrusive mandate in my lifetime, I believe the working class felt the same way when social security was first introduced.
PaulRevere October 25, 2013 at 01:02 pm
OK-get your point. You say: "instead of the government running the insurance, JUST regulateRead More it". "Keep cost under control". May I now ask why? Why pick only insurance companies? Why not control Gasoline prices? why not control Home prices? Why not control automobile prices? Do you get the notion that "REGULATE" equates with fairness or affordability? No one needs Life insurance , car insurance , Home insurance , flood insurance , flight insurance, jewelry insurance, theft insurance, business interruption insurance. Medical Insurance is nothing more than "Paying your medical bills IN ADVANCE. That's it. Just like I don't pay for your "mercedes" car value insurance , I should not have to pay for your medical bills. Medical Insurance IS NOT A right. 90% of our medical bills are the result of "LIFESTYLE". Sorry, but to select Insurance companies (there are over 3,000 of them) as somehow price gouging the public is wrong. They are not like regulating utilities. I am shocked that you would suggest Govt can "Keep costs under control" when the govt is $17trill in debt itself. No-sir, it is not about Govt helping you or I , it is about them stealing stockholder run companies money to give you a free service. Insurance will never stop going up until the "users" stop the accidents and sexual and eating and drinking lifestyles. Any mandate to buy a "CAR or HOME" should enlighten you on just how absurd requiring us to buy a service really is. There was no such thing as medical insurance years ago and when it was available, we had to pay our Rx and Doctors with our cold hard cash first. Then we submitted our bills to the insurance company to be "reimbursed". Doctors and hospitals never could charge more than people had in their banks & savings. That is how you control costs of ANYTHING. Affordability starts in the Users Pocketbook---NOT someone elses pocketbook. Think about that ! Cars we own are based on "my affordability , not my insurance on the car". Finally, social security system today is no longer an Insurance program. It is an "entitlement". That means all the money gets spent on running the Freebie programs of the Govt. Soc sec is a Govt program to supplement peoples retirement needs. There is no insurance in Soc sec. ACA is not a Govt sponsored medical care plan. To equate to soc security, the Govt would have to Build hospitals, own the doctors, nurses, own the medical devices and make "medical care " a true Govt entitlement. Instead, ACA is nothing but an attempt to price control a product that is forever costed by Peoples lifestyles. You cannot control Insurance cost unless you control the users. Education tuition is a perfect example of how any Govt intervention in price only makes things go higher. Once the insurance companies know that Govt will simply Tax more under ACA--AS NEEDED, prices will simply rise according to the affordability of GOVERNMENT--Not the people. This is not a case of Working class feelings about a program. This a case of who is the "affordable" part of ACA talking about? A mandate transfers the affordability to the GOVT--. Like our Education system, Teachers ,Professors have no limits as to their massive pensions , courtesy of GOVT interventions. I can give a whole lecture on this.
