Lindbergh Schools' Redistricting Panel to Hold Last Public Forum Prior to Drawing New Boundaries
Prop R dollars turns Truman Elementary into a middle school and Concord preschool into an elementary school, distributing student numbers evenly throughout.
Big changes are coming for students of Lindbergh School District in the 2011-2012 school year as all but high school age students will be re-grouped across district schools. The district's Boundary Committee will hold a last public forum over proposed changes Jan. 25. The goal is to even out the number of students in each of the district's elementary schools. Currently, Truman Elementary serves 800 students and is by far the largest elementary school in the district. After drawing new boundaries, all elementary schools should have an enrollment of 450 to 550 students.
