This image has floated around on Patch all week and it begs for a clever and creative caption. So, we're using it to launch a periodic Caption Contest feature where readers provide a clever, creative and usually humorous caption for a photograph that strikes our fancy. The winner will be determined by the editors based on the most interesting, creative and witty caption for the photo of the week and will be treated to a Patch tote bag and breakfast or lunch at Maggie's Lunchbox in Fenton. Please submit your proposed caption for today's photo by sending it to Dan Barger at Dan.Barger@patch.com. Please include your phone number and email address so we can get in touch with you if you win.

While we celebrate the luck of the Irish, read stories of good luck by Patch readers that range from scary to heartwarming.
One survived a near disastrous ocean cruise. Another had a traumatic episode during pregnancy and got to the hospital in part because her husband forgot something and returned home. Yet another keeps in touch with the two women who saved her life when she had a heart attack. These are some of the stories Patch readers have shared so far in the "Why I'm Lucky" contest that runs until noon on Monday. There's still time to enter; all you need to do is submit a photo that illustrates why you're lucky. Don't worry: Your story doesn't have to involve a life-changing experience; winners will be chosen at random. Get more details and enter here. But some of the stories you've already shared are touching, chilling and heartwarming. A BABY IN BRAIN …

The Dolan family has been decorating big since their days on Troost Street.
The final votes are in and Affton residents Pat and Denise Dolan have come in fifth in Patch's Deck the House holiday lighting contest. Their bedazzled home on Laclede Station Road received a whopping 3,276 votes—just 14 votes behind the fourth-place house. The Dolans were one of 24 finalists competing for a grand prize donation of $100,000 to the winner's local public school district. Their house was selected as a finalist by judges from among a pool of entries collected from hundreds of Patch towns across the country. Though the prize eventually went to the Powell house in Davis, CA, the Dolans lead a vigorous get-out-the-vote effort through yard signs, the Affton School District, local Affton organizations and St. Louis TV news. "It's …
