Police: Shrewsbury Father and Son Kick Each Other's Legs During Dispute

The Shrewsbury Police Department provided the following information in its police blotter. Saturday, Oct. 27 At 1 a.m., a St. Louis County man was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in the area of S. Laclede Station Road and Weil Avenue. The man had been pulled over for speeding before submitting a .130 BAC, police report. At 5:50 p.m., a verbal argument in the 7700 block of Kenridge Lane escalated into a physical altercation, with the son kicking his father in the leg and the father kicking his son in the leg. Both refused medical attention, police report. The case was referred to the St. Louis County Family Services Unit.
