Police Respond to Domestic Disturbance, Find Stolen Firearm

Thomas O'Leary was charged with domestic assault and receiving stolen property.

Police responding to a domestic disturbance also located a stolen firearm in an Affton home Feb. 25. Thomas O’Leary, 45, of the 9300 block of Althea Avenue in Affton, was charged Feb. 26 with third-degree domestic assault and receiving stolen property. St. Louis County Police said O’Leary struck his girlfriend, causing visible bruising, and attempts to choke the woman. While at the home at about 6:38 p.m. Feb. 25, officers found a 30-06 Remington hat had been reported stolen. O’Leary posted a $7,500 bond and was released from St. Louis County Justice Center Feb. 28. Man Shoots at Ex-Wife, St. Louis County Police Say

Sanimir Mustic is being held in St. Louis County jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

An Oakville man faces criminal charges after he shot at his ex-wife Saturday. Sanimir Mustic, 43, of the 3200 block of Kingsridge Manor Drive, was charged Sunday with second-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action. St. Louis County Police said Mustic fired a shot at the woman using an Inter Tech 9 mm Luger. The woman was not injured. Mustic is being held in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $50,000, cash only. After Son Threatened Ex-Girlfriend, Affton Mother is Charged With Hiding Shotgun From Police

St. Louis County Police said Cynthia Waters hid the weapon, which officers said was used by her son to threaten his ex-girlfriend.

A woman faces a criminal charge after St. Louis County Police said she hid a shotgun used by her son in a crime. Cynthia Waters, 53, of the 4400 block of Little Chief Drive in South County, was charged Feb. 22 with tampering with physical evidence. St. Louis County Police said they were searching for a pistol-grip shotgun used by Waters’ son, Tyler Waters, in a domestic assault case. St. Louis County Police said Cynthia Waters told officers there were no guns in her home to her knowledge. When police officers searched her home, they found a pistol-grip shotgun hidden in a closet. According to a court document, calls between Tyler and Cynthia Waters incriminated her, and she also made incriminating statements to the police. Waters posted 10…

Man Punched, Threatened Ex-Girlfriend With Shotgun, Police Say

Tyler Waters, 21, was on parole after pleading guilty to four counts each of theft and property damage in November 2010.

A South County man punched his ex-girlfriend and threatened her with a shotgun Feb. 9, St. Louis County Police said. Tyler A. Waters, 21, of the 4400 block of Little Chief Drive in South St. Louis County, was charged Feb. 12 with second-degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm. St. Louis County Police said Waters punched his ex-girlfriend in the face and threatened her with a black, pistol-grip shotgun. Waters is not allowed to possess a firearm because he's been convicted of a felony. Waters was on parole with the Missouri Department of Corrections after pleading guilty in November 2010 to four counts of theft and four counts of property damage. Man Beat, Choked Girlfriend in Affton, Police Say

The man was charged last Friday with second-degree domestic assault.

An Affton man punched, beat and choked his girlfriend last Friday, St. Louis County Police said. Benjamin Murden, 38, of the 9700 block of Arv Ellen Drive, was charged Friday with second-degree domestic assault. St. Louis County Police reported that Murden argued with his girlfriend after he was “caught looking into a neighbor’s vehicle.” After he assaulted her, he fled before officers arrived, police said. Murden is being held in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $50,000, cash only. Affton Man Choked, Injured Girlfriend, Police Say

An Affton man faces criminal charges after police said he choked his girlfriend last January. Anthony Ryan Jr., 30, of the 4000 block of Green Meadows in the Affton area, was charged Tuesday with second-degree domestic assault. St. Louis County Police said Ryan injured a woman who was his girlfriend at the time by choking her Jan. 12 at his home. Bond was set at $10,000. South County Man Choked Wife to Near Unconsciousness, Police Say

Police said the man also banged the woman's head on the toilet.

A South County man faces criminal charges after police said he choked his wife until she was nearly unconscious and banged her head on the toilet. (See related on Patch: Landlord Threatened Tenants With Shotgun, Police Say) Jimmy Gurley, 60, of the 4800 block of Heidelburg in South County near Affton, was charged Saturday with second-degree domestic assault. St. Louis County Police said Gurley attacked his wife at about 8:15 a.m. Saturday. Bond was set at $20,000 cash only. Ladue Police Officer Charged with Domestic Assault

St. Louis County Police said the off-duty officer assaulted his girlfriend in Affton.

A Ladue Police officer is facing criminal charges after St. Louis County Police said he assaulted his girlfriend. Steven Manasco, 34, of Affton, was charged Tuesday with third-degree domestic assault. According to a St. Louis County Police report, Manasco pushed and punched a his girlfriend Monday in the 9100 block of Lucia Drive in Affton. Ladue’s acting chief, Lt. Darin McClure told Patch, "There is an internal investigation in progress, but I can't say any more than that." McClure is acting chief while Ladue Police Chief Rich Wooten is out of town. Friday, September 2 A black 1998 Toyota Camry, along with a purse and electronics within, was reported stolen in the 11800 block of Kramper Lane in Concord. The vehicle was recovered but the other items were not. Citizen’s National Bank at 9111 Mackenzie Road was robbed at gunpoint. Two men were later arrested and charged. A green 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier was reported stolen from part of St. Anthony Medical Center, 12700 Southfork Road in South County. A wallet, credit card, CDs knife and asp baton were reported stolen in the 11800 block of Tescord Drive in Concord. The Acura had been in the same parking spot since March 23. Police looked for the white vehicle that left the scene of the accident, but they could not locate the striking vehicle. A red 2006 Honda motorcycle was found lying in the road at the intersection of Heege Road and Valcour Avenue in Affton. The owner did not know the bike was gone from his residence.
