Shrewsbury Police Blotter: Burglar Turned on Stove?

Friday, August 12 Shrewsbury Police are investigating a residential burglary in the 7200 block of Murdoch Avenue. The homeowner reported to police that someone entered her home while she was out for a walk between 7:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and turned on a gas burner on her stove. There was no forced entry into the home. Saturday, August 13 At 12:30 p.m., police investigated the theft of a wedding ring from a coffee table in the 7200 block of Nottingham Ave. There was no forced entry into the home. The teenage son had three friends at the home the previous evening that police are seeking to question about this incident.
