Get Out: Chance for Free Girl Scout Cookies

Find out where to purchase cookies in your neck of the woods. Anyone who finds a box with a ticket on it this weekend wins another box for free.

Forget to order your favorite Girl Scout cookies? Not to fear, cookies are still available for purchase. This weekend area Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri will be out in force selling cookies at cookie booths. This weekend only the Girl Scouts will release boxes of cookies with “Girl Scout Tickets.” Anyone who finds a box with a ticket on it wins another box for free. IHOP Offering Free Pancakes for National Pancake Day

Hey, pancake lovers: stop by IHOP for a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes in honor of National Pancake Day on Feb. 5. In return for the free pancakes this year, guests will be asked to consider leaving a donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (or other designated charities). Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP has raised more than $10 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates. St. Louis Non-Profit Offers Free Suits for Job Seekers

Sunset Hills native Chris Dixon, co-founder of the Suit Project, provides donated men’s clothing for job interviews and other special occasions.

“We’ve all been underdressed for something,” says Chris Dixon. If Dixon didn’t realize the importance of proper attire prior to his hire at the firm, it certainly stood out when he began conducting job interviews with potential employees at Page Law Firm in downtown St. Louis. Sometimes a wrinkled shirt has more serious implications than feeling underdressed—it can be the difference separating you from another qualified applicant. Everyone wants to put their best foot forward, but a suit is no longer a daily necessity for men. Dixon sought to help those who lack the resources to buy their own. Then his office received a visit from Ben Lawler, who sells custom clothing on behalf of Tom James. The two realized that they daily came into …
