Man Shoots at Ex-Wife, St. Louis County Police Say

Sanimir Mustic is being held in St. Louis County jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

An Oakville man faces criminal charges after he shot at his ex-wife Saturday. Sanimir Mustic, 43, of the 3200 block of Kingsridge Manor Drive, was charged Sunday with second-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action. St. Louis County Police said Mustic fired a shot at the woman using an Inter Tech 9 mm Luger. The woman was not injured. Mustic is being held in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $50,000, cash only. Man Threw Stolen Handgun Out of Window as Officers Stopped Car, Police Say

St. Louis County Police said the gun had been stolen hours earlier in a burglary.

A man faces stealing charges after throwing a handgun out a car window Feb. 1 as St. Louis County Police pulled the car over. Daniel A. Jones, 30, of Foristell, was charged Feb. 2 with receiving stolen property. St. Louis County Police said they were pulling a car over Feb. 1 when Jones, a passenger in the car, threw a revolver out of the window on Interstate 55 near Bayless Avenue in South County. Police said the handgun had been stolen in a burglary hours earlier. Jones was being held Wednesday in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $35,000, cash only. Ex-Convict Had Handgun in Trunk, Police Say

Shrewsbury Police said he consented to a car search Nov. 11 following a traffic stop.

  A South St. Louis man faces a handgun charge after being stopped for a traffic violation Nov. 11 in Shrewsbury. Lavelle L. Brandon, 37, of the 1900 block of Senate Street in the city of St. Louis, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm. Shrewsbury Police said officers pulled over Brandon’s car at Kenrick Manor Drive and Trianon Parkway Drive on a traffic violation. Officers said he consented to a car search. The officer found a 9 mm Taurus handgun in the car’s trunk. Police said Brandon ran from the scene, but was caught by officers. Brandon was convicted of second-degree burglary in 1993 and is prohibited from possessing a firearm. Brandon posted a $30,000 bond and was released Nov. 14. For more crime information on Affton-…
