Man Drove Under Influence of Illegal Narcotics in South County, Police Say

St. Louis County Police said Jeremy Cole Klable was drove after taking meth, opiates and amphetamines.

A man faces criminal charges for driving while under the influence of several illegal narcotics near Grant’s Farm, according to court documents. Jeremy Cole Klable, 29, of Dittmer MO, was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender, a felony. A St. Louis County police officer pulled Klable over as he was driving on Gravois Road at Missionary Ridge at 6:41 p.m. Jan. 23, 2012. St. Louis County Police said a blood test showed he was driving under the influence of methamphetamine, amphetamine and opiates. Klable has two previous impaired driving convictions. He was found guilty of DWI in 2005 for impaired driving in Hillsboro on Nov. 30, 2002, and he was found guilty of driving with excessive blood-alcohol content in…

Man Sets Off Smoke Alarm at Hotel, Busted for Meth in Motel the Next Day

Police found methamphetamine on a room occupant at the South County Holiday Inn after a smoke alarm was triggered in the room, then find the same renter at a meth lab at the Super 8 in Fenton.

A South County man who set off smoke alarms in a hotel Sunday while attempting to make methamphetamine was arrested the next day for trying to make meth in another motel room, police said. Stephen L. Langendorf, 19, of the 5700 block of Wieland Drive in South County, was charged Tuesday with two counts of possessing a meth precursor with intent to manfacture methamphetamine. St. Louis County Police said a smoke alarm was triggered Sunday at the Holiday Inn at 4234 Butler Hill Drive in Langendorf’s room. Police found meth ingredients and emptied pseudoephedrine blister packs in the room and found meth on one of the room’s occupants. Police: Man Caught on Camera, Charged with Stealing Meth Ingredient

Police said video surveillance captured the theft and helped identify the man.

A Eureka man was charged with stealing a bulk storage tank of anhydrous ammonia from a manufacturer in Shrewsbury. Robert K. Theiss, 41, of the first block of White Doe Court in Eureka, was charged Monday with theft of anhydrous ammonia by storage tank, a class A felony. Shrewsbury Police said Theiss was captured on video surveillance at about 5:38 a.m. Sept 3 stealing the storage tank from Carr Lane Manufacturing, 4200 Carr Lane. He was identified on the video, arrested and confessed to the theft, police said. Anhydrous ammonia is used in the illegal manufacture of methamphetamine. Meth Bust Made at Taco Bell Parking Lot

Shrewsbury Police found Christine Blazer asleep in her car with a pen pipe.

Police arrested an Affton woman April 4 for having ingredients and items to make methamphetamine. Shrewsbury Police responded to a call regarding a suspicious vehicle in the Taco Bell parking lot at 7237 Watson Rd. and found Christine M. Blazer, 45, asleep in her car. An officer spotted a smoking pipe made from a pen in the car. According to the police report, the car’s interior had “an overwhelming odor of chemicals.” A search found ammonia nitrate, hydrochloric acid, and items used to make methamphetamine, the report reads. Several of the items had residue from past use. Blazer is being charged with possessing chemicals with the intent to make and distribute meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $20,000.

Shrewsbury Police Blotter: Three Drug Busts in One Week

The following information was supplied by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Thursday, Mar. 22 At 11:40 p.m. Shrewsbury police arrested an Affton resident on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 7200 block of Murdoch Avenue. The vehicle had a front headlight that was not working properly. Saturday, Mar. 24  At 1:20 a.m. police arrested a man from Caseyville, IL on charges of possession of methamphetamine after an improper lane use traffic stop in the 7700 block of Murdoch Avenue. The man was also charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  A woman from Affton reported her wallet, cash and credit and debit cards missing. The victim last saw her wallet at 1:20 p.m. after paying for groceries at Dierbergs, 7233 Watson Rd. Sunday, Mar. 25 At 10:30 p.m. …
