Man Charged in Saturday's Bank Robbery at Affton Shop 'n Save

Roger W. Jennings has been arrested and charged with second-degree robbery of the UMB Bank inside the grocery store. An anonymous tip led to his arrest.

A 52-year-old St. Louis man has been arrested and charged for robbing the UMB Bank inside Shop 'n Save at 5780 South Lindbergh Blvd. The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued warrants today on Roger W. Jennings, of the 6900 block of Alabama Ave. in St. Louis. He has been charged with second-degree robbery. On Dec. 22, St. Louis County officers responded to the robbery call around 5 p.m., police say. Jennings presented a note demanding money before fleeing from the bank with $3,000 in cash.  An anonymous tip led to Jennings' arrest, according to police. He was identified using surveillance video footage. Jennings was charged Friday with second-degree robbery. He is being held on $35,000 bond.

Man Assaults Mother, Takes Car, Crashes into Seven Holy Founders Building

The woman told police her son returned without the car and told her he ran into a building.

A 35-year-old man assaulted his mother, took her car keys, stole her car and later drove it into the former Seven Holy Founders School building in Affton Tuesday, police said. William Hoffee, 35, of the 4900 block of Fyler Avenue in South St. Louis, was charged Wednesday with second-degree robbery, leaving the scene of an accident and resisting arrest. St. Louis County Police said Hoffee assaulted his mother at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 9900 block of Pointe South Drive in the Concord area of South St Louis County. He then took her car keys and debit card and left in her vehicle, police said. Gravois Bank Robbed, FBI Releases Photos of Suspects

Do you recognize the man in dreadlocks and a fedora who robbed a bank on Gravois Road Monday morning?

Police are searching for two men and a woman suspected of robbing First Bank at 7256 Gravois Monday morning. Police described the female robber as wearing a dark pull-over hoodie and oversized sunglasses. One male robber had long dreadlocks and facil hair, a light-colored fedora, a light-colored blazer and baggy pants. The other male robber was wearing a dark-colored fedora and a dark blazer. The robbers robbed First Bank at about 10:30 a.m. Monday. The men were armed with handguns, and the woman was armed with pepper spray, according to police. Man Charged With Purse Snatching in South County

The victim was injured during the robbery, St. Louis County police said.

A St. Louis man was charged with snatching a woman’s purse Friday at 4301 Seibert Ave. in unincorporated St. Louis County. The incident reportedly happened just east of Affton near the area of Morgan Ford and Weber roads. Frank Moore, 23, of the 4700 block of Michigan Avenue in St. Louis, was charged Saturday with second-degree robbery and stealing a credit device. St. Louis County police said the victim was injured during the robbery. The victim’s purse had cash and a debit card, according to the police report. Bond was set at $50,000. Help Police Find Affton US Bank Robbery Suspect

Police have released a photo of the suspect who left with an undetermined amount of money Friday afternoon.

Police are trying to identify a man accused of robbing the US Bank located at 2041 Union Road at Reavis Barracks Road. Police responded at approximately 2 p.m. to the bank robbery, according to a St. Louis County Police report. The suspect left the scene in a gray color, older model GMC pickup truck with no plates. The man is in his mid 50s, has dark brown hair and is approximately 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-10 tall with a medium build, police said. The suspect left the scene with an undetermined amount of money. Shrewsbury Dierberg's Robbery Suspects in Custody, Police Say

The two men are among four suspects in a string of parking lot robberies in Brentwood, Mehlville and Crestwood, police confirmed.

Shrewsbury police confirmed Wednesday that two suspects in the May 15 Mackenzie Pointe Dierberg’s robbery have been arrested. The confirmation follows Tuesday's news that Crestwood police had arrested three suspects in connection with a string of robberies in Crestwood, Mehlville and Brentwood. In each robbery, at least two men forced a woman to hand over her purse at gunpoint and drove away in a green Impala. Lt. Brian Catlett told Patch that Shrewsbury police could not release names until the St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney’s office files charges against the suspects. Affton Precinct Police Blotter: Betrayed at Gunpoint

Friday, June 3 In the 7800 block of Watson Road in Affton, an individual was assaulted by an acquaintance and a necklace and Xbox were stolen. An apartment in the 9000 block of Laclede Station Road was entered while the resident was taking out the trash. A credit card and prescription medication were stolen from a purse. Cops Catch Crook After Smoke Shop Stickup

Welcome Smokers at Grasso Plaza was held up this afternoon, but police arrested a suspect a few blocks away.

St. Louis County police say they apprehended the perpetrator of a robbery at Welcome Smokers in Grasso Plaza this afternoon. Around noon, a man who held his hand in his pocket as if he had a gun robbed the smoke shop at 67 Grasso Plaza. It is unclear whether he had a weapon or not. No one was hurt. The police were called, and officers on the scene said police apprehended the robber soon after at a house a few blocks away on Weber Road near Valcour Avenue.
